A Weekend at Canberra

Hi!
Last weekend, I went to a soccer friendly match between Australia Socceroos and Malaysia soccer team. This was my first time of being in a stadium for a football match in my life! Even though, Malaysia lost 5-0 to Australia, I as one of the Malaysian supporters were glad to see them playing in Australia.

The next day, I went to Floriade!! What a beautiful landscaping!
In Canberra in this time annually they have Tulip festival, which the designer will shape the flower to the shape
that they want too. Moreover they have playground too and other stall that interesting along the street of the area.

Australia - Tasmania:)

Tasmania is the purest place i've been to so far,
if you ask me to use a song to describe Tasmania,
i will use the song "what a wonderful world".
"i see trees of green, red roses too...
...i see skies of blue, and clouds of white"

Tas is really the best place to travel when you wanna
escape from the busyness and stress from the city,
This is the best place for you to breath some fresh air,
do some bush walking and put yourself together again.

Views are great over Tasmania,
People are nice and happy.

Sydney oh~ Sydney

Sydney has the largest population within Australia. This city has multicultural background of people which make Sydney rich with not just in culture (i.e.language and food)  but in topography too. Since Sydney is bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the East, the Blue Mountains to the West, the Hawkesbury River to the North and the Royal National Park to the South. My friends and I sometime visit the city (Sydney) from our place I takes about 40 minutes by train to Town Hall station. From Town Hall station is quite close from others attraction. The above Town Hall everyone could enjoy shopping in manly branded items store in Queen Victoria Building. Across the Queen Victoria Building (QVB) there is Galleria Queen Victoria Building which sometime this place show some art or design work from designer. One of the interesting store there is Kinokuniya Book store which provide the largest range of book in Sydney. Walking about 10 minutes from QVB to the right side of Queen Victoria statue direction to the dog statue we can see and enjoy Daring Harbour and relax in some cafe there to try drink coffee or tea.

Darling Harbour night time

However, if you want to enjoy the legendary Sydney Opera House you have to get off in Circular Quay, we could get off from Town Hall but if you do not really want to walk about 20 minuets you should take train or bus to Circular Quay, even you could take ferry if you want to go Circular Quay because they have wharf for the ferry.

My first view of Australia, Newcastle

Hi!
When I first arrive in Sydney, I met with few seniors from Newcastle. They are all Medic student at Newcastle University. As our class haven't started yet, the seniors asked me and my friends to come to Newcastle. So here was my first journey in Australia...

Nelson Bay :

Nelson Bay is a coastal resort town located just inside the mouth of Port Stephens which is a large natural harbour! From there I could see lots of ships queued to entered the harbour.

Merewether Beach :

The suburb of Merewether includes some of Newcastle's most famous beaches. Dixon Park Beach leads south onto Merewether Beach and a little further to the small Ladys Beach and the more isolated Burwood Beach which leads to Glenrock Lagoon. At the southern end of Merewether Beach are the Merewether Ocean Baths, the largest ocean baths in the Southern Hemisphere!!

Blackbutt Reserve:

Blackbutt Reserve exhibits a range of native Australia wildlife including koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats and birds.

Sand Dune : Sand Boarding!!

Kayaking:
I just watch them cause I'm scared to try :p
