My first view of Australia, Newcastle

Hi!
When I first arrive in Sydney, I met with few seniors from Newcastle. They are all Medic student at Newcastle University. As our class haven't started yet, the seniors asked me and my friends to come to Newcastle. So here was my first journey in Australia...

Nelson Bay :

Nelson Bay is a coastal resort town located just inside the mouth of Port Stephens which is a large natural harbour! From there I could see lots of ships queued to entered the harbour.

Merewether Beach :

The suburb of Merewether includes some of Newcastle's most famous beaches. Dixon Park Beach leads south onto Merewether Beach and a little further to the small Ladys Beach and the more isolated Burwood Beach which leads to Glenrock Lagoon. At the southern end of Merewether Beach are the Merewether Ocean Baths, the largest ocean baths in the Southern Hemisphere!!

Blackbutt Reserve:

Blackbutt Reserve exhibits a range of native Australia wildlife including koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats and birds.

Sand Dune : Sand Boarding!!

Kayaking:
I just watch them cause I'm scared to try :p

Meeting a Friend in Brisbane

Hi!
Even though it was a short trip, I'm glad I went there. It was supposed to be a visit of us from Sydney to Brisbane but ended up for a while as my friend was not in her holiday at that time. So we only manage to get around Brisbane city and the universities around them.
Brisbane is the capital of the Queensland state which is also the third most populous city in Australia. The Brisbane Central Business District (CBD) stands on the original European settlement and is situated inside a bend of the Brisbane River. There were a lots of bridge along the river. My friends house was opposite the university which is on the other side of the river. So everyday she will walk along the bridge. It's a healthy way though and cheap as well.

Brisbane in Daylight :

City Cat :
It is one of the service offered along the river where you can see the other view of the city. I prefer to ride on it during the night as you can feel the breezy wind touching your face. I feel like I'm on Titanic!

Wheel of Brisbane :
I think all city in Australia have their own Ferris wheel but Brisbane was my first one that I ride here in Australia. It turns about 7 times and it fits 6 people in it. What I love the most is that there is air conditioner on the rides!!

Let's fly to Melbourne!

Hi!

This time our journey will take us away to Melbourne, which is the capital and the most populous city in Victoria. The Melbourne City Centre, which also known as "Central Business District" (CBD) is the hub of a greater metropolitan area.

Melbourne is the best place for shopping as it has a lot of Direct Factory Outlets (DFO) around.

DFO : Spencer Street

Spencer Street Fashion Station is a
new addition to Melbourne's iconic hot spots. There are over 120 brands like Country Road, Veronika Maine, Cue, Withcery, and much more!

DFO : Essendon

It is near to the Essendon Airport and on the same way to Tullamarine Airport, you still have time to shop before your flights off :)
It has over 100 of Australian and international fashion brands at up to 70%!!

DFO : Moorabbin

Same goes to this DFO which is also situated near to an airport, Moorabin Airport.

DFO : Southwharf

It is situated along the Yarra river, Southwharf DFO is the only DFO reachable by trams!

Other DFO can only be reach by bus or trains. For me its easy if you rent a car to go every DFO, if you want to :)

Next, is Harbour Town!

Melbourne also offers a lot of interesting places like :

Eureka Skydeck

Queen Victoria Market
They offered a lot more cheaper souvenirs compared to Sydney Paddy's Market especially the price on T-shirts :)

Melbourne Museum

Victorian Arts Centre

Melbourne Aquarium

A tour around city by a Horse Carriage!
