I've been to gold coast once and I would like to share about my experience when I went there.
and one of our member I think she just went to Gold Coast last week, Right Patti ^^

 

Visit GOLD COAST

Gold Coast is a beautiful place for beach and outdoor activities. Gold Coast is located south east Queensland, probably everyone heard that Gold Coast famous for beaches and theme park but there are other  interseting activities to do in Gold Coast.As Gold cost has subtropical climate there is Rainforest and garden to visit and worth to try to experience the walk on the hanging bridge or sky-walk of rain forest.

The theme parks in gold coast are amazing I like the design of buildings and the rides. As I do not really ride the rides I prefer to walk around the theme parks and enjoy everyone and surrounding. Seaworld, Movieworld, Wet’n’Wild Waterworld and Dreamworld are the popular theme parks in Gold coast.

Recommended to visit theme parks if you visit Gold Cost at least one or two of the theme park. If you planning the trip to Gold Coast probably buy online for VIP pass unlimited probably about one month to enter  the theme parks or even until one year. Usually the VIP pass will grouped the theme park to two options first option Sea world, Movie world and Wet and wild second option is Dreamworld with WhiteWater world.

For the accommodation in Gold Coast has many options from hotel, apartment and cottage. The accommodation is all depend on your budget and preferable of situation, but I recommend if the first you come to Gold Coast you do not know any thing about Gold Coast situation I prefer to stay around Surfer Paradise as that place has everything which means from food, cafe, internet cafe, shops, night club, convenience store and really close to beach ^^. 

Just some tips to make sure you have enough money and extra if you go travel, since last time when i visited Gold Coast there were ash cloud so airport close and no flight for one day and as result my flight delay in to two days time which I have to spent more money. Attention the airport in Gold Coast is no 24 hours open so you can not stay there. The airport will close at 00.00 am and reopen at 4 am, I remind this because I tried to stay there for one night but they kicked us out.

oya! and the most important place you have to visit is Zarraffa’s Coffee in Surfer Paradise. This coffee is really good and for now they have just had the branches in Queensland and I believes there are some stores in NSW but not is Sydney .The Store is in the corner across the road from Hard Rock cafe but not the way to the shopping mall the other side which have pub.
